Boise-based Norco announces hiring of new executive VP

Norco Inc., a welding, safety and medical supply company based in Boise, has hired a new executive vice president to replace Dan Taylor, who is retiring June 1 after 36 years with the company.

Robert Mohr Gerry was named new executive vice president of the company’s industrial division.

His roles prior to joining Norco were in the Midwest as area general sales manager, regional director of branch operations and regional director of market and sales development at Praxair.

He teaches in the MBA program for Valparaiso University, in Northwest Indiana, and has a business degree from California State University and an MBA from Valparaiso University.

Norco is the nation’s largest privately owned medical, welding, safety and gas supplier, operating more than 70 branches in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
