Letter: Elect Jimmy Farris

April 28, 2014

On May 20th voters in District 16 have the opportunity to make their voices heard in the primary elections. Jimmy Farris is running for state representative House Seat 16A. I have known Jimmy for over 10 years and I would like to share with District 16 voters why I think he is the best candidate for this seat. Jimmy was born and raised in Lewiston. He believes in working hard and appreciates the beauty of our state and the diversity of its people.

Jimmy knows many families are struggling to make ends meet and we cannot afford to miss opportunities to make Idaho better. He knows that gender equality means equal opportunity for all citizens of our state; and that the right to a quality education should never be for sale.

Probably the one thing that has impressed me the most about Jimmy is his ability to discuss hot topics without being hotheaded. He will stand up for what he believes in and do so with dignity. He believes in working together for a common good and not against for a sole purpose. Now isn't that what we need in the Idaho Legislature?
