Washington racer wins second straight Ignitor title at Firebird Raceway

Eagle - Kris Krabill of Tacoma, Wash., won the AA/Funny Car title at the 44th annual NAPA Ignitor Nitro Opener on Sunday at Firebird Raceway. The day featured four different rain delays - totaling 6 hours. Taking a holeshot victory, Krabill ran 5.90 elapsed time at 242.19 miles per hour to beat a quicker 5.84-251.46 by Dan Horan Jr. of Sylmar, Calif. Even though he finished runner-up, the run by Horan was the fastest of the weekend.
