Materials on a work bench in the repair center at the Peterson car dealership on Fairview Avenue in Boise ignited, according to a Boise Fire captain. No one was injured by the small fire.

The fire was reported at 4:02 p.m. in the 12300 block of Fairview Avenue, near Cloverdale. A second alarm was called due to the size of the site and large number of cars.

"In the event that it was going to be significant, I wanted a large number of crews," Boise Fire Captain Brent Ho said.

The fire on the workbench activated sprinklers in the building, and that put out the fire. The bench was charred by the fire, Ho said.

The materials on the bench that caused the fire aren't yet know. The cause remains under investigation.
