After winning Friday, Capital and Eagle earned guaranteed invitations to the state tournament with one game remaining in the regular season.
The Eagles can clinch the regular-season title at home against Meridian on Monday, awarding them home field advantage in the three-game series against Eagle to determine the district champion. The Mustangs own the tiebreaker if Capital stumbles.
The remaining eight teams comprise the district tournament field. The top two finishers will enter the state tournament as the final two seeds from District Three.
The No. 3 seed - the top spot in the district field - will be determined in the Borah-Mountain View series. If the Mavericks sweep or split against the Lions, they'll earn the top honors. The Lions need to sweep for the advantage.
PROJECTED FINAL STANDINGS:
3. Mountain View
4. Rocky Mountain
