Two hurt in rollover crash on I-84

Boise - The Idaho StatesmanApril 26, 2014

— Raelee Asson, a 21-year-old from Meridian, overcorrected after trying to change lanes on I-84 just east of Eagle Road on Saturday afternoon and struck an SUV driven by Allen Centers, 62, of Meridian, according to an Idaho State Police news release.

Centers' vehicle rolled and came to rest, wheels up, on the right shoulder of the freeway. In the car with Allen Centers was 63-year-old Dianne Centers, also of Meridian. An ambulance took both to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise for treatment.

Asson didn't go to the hospital. All three people involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts, according to the news release.

The crash blocked all westbound lanes for a short time and the right lane for an hour and 20 minutes, causing traffic to back up.
