‘Celebration of life’ set Monday for teen hit by car

April 25, 2014

Olivia Schnacker

Olivia Ann Schnacker, the 13-year-old girl who died two days after an Easter Sunday car-bicycle accident on Ustick Road, will celebrated at a service Monday afternoon.

The second of Mindi and Ronnie Schnacker’s four children, Olivia is remembered by her family and Lowell Scott Middle School classmates as sweet, spirited and supportive, with a winning smile.

She was hit by a car Sunday evening while she and two other children were riding bicycles on Ustick near Jullion Way. She died on Tuesday. A viewing is set from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Summers Funeral Home, 3629 E. Ustick Road, Meridian.

A celebration of life service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 4848 N. Five Mile Road, at 4 p.m. Monday. Those who attend are welcome to wear shades of blue, her favorite color, or any color of the rainbow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Olivia Schnacker memorial fund at any Wells Fargo Bank branch.
