Blue Cross of Idaho, ProService to participate in Boise job fair

Blue Cross of Idaho and ProService have signed up to participate in a job fair Thursday. They want to hire customer service agents.

The fair runs from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Idaho Department of Labor Boise office, 219 W. Main St.

The companies Adecco, Citi, DIRECTV, Teleperformance, Xerox and Wells Fargo also will be at the fair.

Blue Cross of Idaho is a health insurance company with headquarters in Meridian. ProService is a company that runs a call center in Meridian, small-parts warehouse and fulfillment center. According to its website, ProService is hiring seasonal customer service agents.

The companies at the job fair want to hire up to 1,000 people for call centers in Southwest Idaho, according to the Idaho Department of Labor. The jobs pay between $9 and $13.46 an hour plus bonuses. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts and on-site fitness centers.
