Colorado takes 2-1 series lead over Steelheads

April 23, 2014

LOVELAND, Colo. — Colorado got goals from four different players — three after an unusual game misconduct to Idaho forward Andrew Conboy — as the homestanding Eagles defeated the Steelheads 4-1 on Tuesday. Conboy was assessed a five-minute cross-checking major penalty and a game misconduct for a hit on Colorado's Kevin Young. Games 4 and 5 are scheduled for Thursday and Friday in Colorado, while the series, if needed, switches to Boise for Games 6 and 7 Monday and Tuesday.
