Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State men's golf team concludes regular season

The Broncos wrapped up the regular season with an 11th-place finish (916) at the El Macero Classic in El Macero, Calif., on Sunday. Shane Allor and Logan France led the Broncos on the final day, firing rounds of 1-over 73. Ty Travis had the highest finish for BSU, tying for 34th - two strokes back of the top 25 - with an 11-over 227. The Mountain West Championships are April 25-27 in Tucson, Ariz.

BSU TRACK & FIELD: Jasmyn Jewett won the triple jump (40 feet, 6.75 inches), and the women's 4x100-meter relay team of Shannon Jacobs, Chelsey Washington, Brandi Williams and Kimberly Miller also claimed a victory (48.21 seconds) at the Oregon Relays in Eugene on Saturday.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO BASEBALL: The Coyotes split a doubleheader with Menlo College for the second straight day, losing 3-2 and winning 9-5 in Caldwell. On Saturday, Mitch Skaggs (Capital High) hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 11th inning to give the C of I (24-18, 15-11 NAIA West) a 10-6 win after losing 5-1.

C OF I SOFTBALL: Nickayla Skinner (Mountain Home High) threw the third no-hitter of her career in a 9-0 victory Saturday in Salem, Ore. The Coyotes (25-13, 17-9 Cascade) lost the second game of the doubleheader 3-2.
