One more day of highs in 70s — then cold front hits; possible snowflakes Wednesday morning

Spring weather can be volatile, and we're about to enter one of those weeks.

Don't be fooled by Monday, when the high is expected to reach 77 degrees. The forecast high for Tuesday is about 22 degrees cooler.

Prepare for temperatures in the 50s and 60s through next weekend. The jet stream has set up to the south, and that's expected to cause a series of disturbances, according to the National Weather Service.

In other words, it's going to be wet and breezy.

"Wednesday is going to be kind of nasty," a Weather Service meteorologist said. The low Wednesday morning will be in the mid-30s, so we could see some snowflakes.
