Nampa man injured in multiple-vehicle crash

April 19, 2014

A chain-reaction crash shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday left one man injured on Karcher Road near Latah Drive.

Tanner Sayer, 17, of Nampa was driving north on Karcher Road when he looked down and did not see traffic slowing for a red light. His car rear-ended a vehicle driven by Susana Marquez-Delgado, 39, of Caldwell. Marguez-Delgado's vehicle then struck another vehicle driven by Bruce Thompson, 51, of Nampa.

Traffic was blocked for more than an hour.

Thompson was taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Nampa Medical Center.

Occupants of each of the vehicles were wearing seat belts, the Idaho State Police said.

The crash is still under investigation, the ISP said.
