The Idaho Press Club, the League of Women Voters of Idaho and Idaho Public Television are sponsors of the nine debates in advance of the May 20 primary election. The so-called Idaho Debates have hosted events with Idaho candidates for more than 30 years.
The debates will be broadcast statewide on Idaho Public Television, which provides the moderator. The Idaho Press Club provides Idaho reporters as panelists to question the candidates and the League of Women Voters handles timekeeping duties.
