Workshop on employee background checks set Wednesday in Caldwell

The Idaho Department of Labor and the Canyon County Employer Association are sponsoring a workshop Wednesday, April 23 on employee background checks.

Attorney Kail Q. Seibert will discuss how to conduct background checks so that the employer is not put at any legal risk. Seibert is founder of Ahead of the Kurve LLC, a national third-party administrator and consumer-reporting agency that designs, implements and manages employee screening programs including background checks, drug tests, talent assessments and training.

The workshop runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the department’s local office, 4514 Thomas Jefferson St. in Caldwell.
