Idaho colleges roundup: Home run lifts Boise State softball team past San Jose State

BOISE - Jordan Kreiger hit a two-out, two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning to give the Broncos the edge for a 7-6 victory over San Jose State at Dona Larsen Park. The Spartans rallied with three runs in the top of the seventh but left the go-ahead run on base. San Jose State outhit Boise State 10-5. The win moves the Broncos (22-18, 7-6 MW) a half game closer to conference leader Fresno State (8-4).

NORTHWEST NAZARENE SOFTBALL: St. Martins beat the Crusaders 8-1 in Lacey, Wash. NNU drops to 11-28, 3-13 GNAC.
