Where to enjoy Easter brunch in the Treasure Valley

Easter is one of the most popular holidays for Sunday brunch. Here are some places you can still get a seat.

Note: Several restaurants are taking reservations only by phone. Most places are booked up for large groups.

BOISE

• Berryhill and Co., 121 N. 9th St., will expand its normal brunch offering for the holiday. You'll find carved meats, pastries, omelets, biscuits and gravy, Berryhill bacon, a Bloody Mary bar and more. It's serving from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and costs $29 for adults and $16 for 10 and younger. • The Brickyard, 601 Main St., will serve a buffet with a carving station, cheese spread, pastries, eggs Benedict, desserts and more from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It's $25 for adults, $12 for ages 6 to 12, kids 5 and younger eat free. • Chef Dean Fuller at Castle Ranch Steakhouse, 3300 Vista Ave., will serve up a buffet that includes carved meats, omelets, waffles, blintzes, fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, and more, much of it created with Idaho Preferred ingredients. Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and costs $21.99 for adults, $12.99 for ages 4 to 10, free for 3 and younger. • Fork, 199 N. 8th St., will kick off its new year-round Sunday brunch on Easter to add to its seasonal Saturday brunch that runs concurrent with Capital City Public Market. It will serve its regular brunch menu, which includes a build-your-own Bloody Mary ($8.50), from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations at BoiseFork.com or by calling 287-1700.

• Marie Callender's, 8574 W. Fairview Ave., Boise, is serving a brunch buffet from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with omelet station, caved meats, salad bar, bottomless mimosas and - of course - pie. It's $17.49 for adults, $8.99 for 12 and younger. No reservations required. Info: 375-7744

• Red Feather Lounge, 246 N. 8th St, will serve its brunch menu, with seasonal and holiday specials from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations are taken online at bcrfl.com/redfeather or by calling 429-6340.

• Tavern at Bown Crossing, 3111 S. Bown Way, will serve its brunch menu of Benedicts, house specialties such as stuffed French toast, and biscuits and gravy, plus some holiday specials. Reservations: 345-2277. Online: tavernatbown.com

• The Melting Pot, 200 N. 6th St., Boise, will serve a four-course fondue special from noon to 9 p.m. You get cheese fondue, salad, a fondue entree of ahi tuna, filet mignon, sirloin and chicken, followed by chocolate fondue. • Emilio's at the Grove Hotel, 245 S. Capitol Blvd., will serve a grand buffet with complimentary champagne, carved prime rib, a fresh seafood bar, omelet station, pastries, waffles and more from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It's $36 for adults, $32 for seniors, $15 for kids 6 to 12 and free for 5 and younger. EAGLE

Crooked Flats, 3705 Idaho 16, will serve an Easter buffet of pancakes, eggs, sausage and more starting at 10 a.m. Brunch is $10 per person with no reservations needed. A kids Easter egg hunt will be at 11 a.m. with one $100 egg to find.

• Eagle Hills Golf Course, 605 N. Edgewood Lane, will have a grand brunch buffet with seafood, carved beef and ham, pork loin, salads, pastas, pastries and desserts, fruit and more from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first glass of champagne or mimosa is on the house for 21 and older. It's $33.95 for adults, $29.95 for 60 and older, $13.95 for kids 2 to 12. Kids age 1 and younger are free. Make a reservation for 9 and 9:30 a.m. and receive an early bird discount of $4. • Bella Aquila, 775 Rivershore Lane, will serve lobster scramble and prime rib specials from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A kids menu will be available for 10 and younger. Reservations by phone only at 938-1900. Online: BellaAquilaRestaurant.com.

MERIDIAN

• Jakers, 3268 E. Pine Ave., will serve a brunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It includes a carving station, omelets to order, eggs all ways, waffles, salad and dessert bar, plus $4 for Bloody Marys and $2 mimosas. It's $24.99 for adults, $21.99 for seniors, $12.99 for kids. Reservations: 288-0898. Online: Jakers.com/meridian.

• Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar, 3690 E. Monarch Sky Lane, at The Village at Meridian, will serve a brunch buffet that features carved meats, omelets to order, traditional or crab Benedict, a chocolate fountain and more. $24.99 for adults ($31.99 for unlimited champagne), $12.99 for kids 6 to 12, free for 5 and younger.
