Gavin DeGraw rolls into Boise

April 18, 2014

  • At the Knit

    7:30 p.m. April 24, Knitting Factory, 416 S. 9th St., Boise. $32.50. TicketWeb. Opening: Parachute, Rozzi Crane.

In addition to co-headlining with Matt Nathanson, Grammy-nominated, piano-pounding singer Gavin DeGraw has been opening for Billy Joel this spring, which he calls "a dream come true." (Joel's music is a big reason why DeGraw became a musician in the first place, he says.) But in Boise, DeGraw is headlining his own concert. That will give him plenty of time and freedom to do his full, high-energy set, where fans are sure to hear favorites such as "Chariot" mixed in with newer hits such as "Best I Ever Had."
