Goose caused power outage in Downtown Boise early Wednesday

Power has been restored to 411 customers affected by an outage in Downtown Boise early Wednesday. The outage was reported at about 7:45 a.m.

The outage affected customers from 1st Street to Capitol Boulevard and Washington Street to Grove Street.

The cause of the outage was determined to be a goose into power lines on 3rd Street, an Idaho Power spokeswoman said. Power was restored by about 8:30 a.m.
