ZoomCare clinics in Meridian and Downtown Boise closed April 1.

A notice on the company's website says patients can still access medical records at zoomcare.com or call 258-2025 with questions.

The Portland-based company had opened its first Idaho quick-care clinic in November 2012, on 5th and Main streets in Boise. It opened a second clinic in The Village at Meridian three months ago.

"Since opening our Downtown Boise clinic in 2012, we've seen strong demand for no-wait, affordable care," Dave Sanders, co-founder and CEO of ZoomCare said at the time. "With Meridian being one of the fastest growing cities in Idaho, we plan to keep this community healthy and deliver the very best patient experience."

A media representative said Monday that ZoomCare pulled out of the Idaho market to focus on other markets in the U.S. and that it would not comment further on its business activities in Idaho.

The closures were first reported by the Idaho Business Review.
