Capital Educators Credit Union to break ground on Meridian branch

Capital Educators Credit Union announced it will break ground its new Meridian branch, which will be located at the corner of McMillan Road and North Linder Road.

The branch will open in the fall, credit union spokeswoman Kathy Palumbo said.

The new branch will be CapEd's second in Meridian and eighth in the Treasure Valley. CapEd also has three Boise branches and branches in Eagle, Kuna and Nampa.

CapEd caters to teachers and other education professionals, though anybody who joins the CapEd Foundation can be a member. The credit union has 40,000 members, including 38,000 in the Treasure Valley.
