Idaho colleges roundup: Boise State wrestler earns conference's top honor

Senior Jake Swartz was named Pac-12 Wrestler of the Year on Thursday. He won his third straight Pac-12 title at 184 pounds and earned All-American honors at the NCAA meet for the first time in his career with a seventh-place finish. Swartz posted a 17-3 record as a senior and 91-30 record in his career. He is the fourth Bronco to win the Pac-12 award.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE BASEBALL: The Crusaders gave coach Rocke Musgraves his 600th career victory when they defeated St. Martin's 7-5 in the nightcap of a doubleheader in Lacey, Wash. Aaron Vaughn struck out six batters to improve to a GNAC-best 7-1 this season. NNU (12-17, 8-8 GNAC) lost the opener 2-1.
