StartUp: Treasure Valley event returns for second year

April 3, 2014

StartUp: Treasure Valley, an event featuring and for local tech start-up companies, is returning for its second year.

The goal of the event is to help entrepreneurs learn the tricks of navigating the process of starting small tech companies.

The two-day event will be April 18 and 19 at the Boise State University College of Business and Economics' new Micron Business and Economics building.

The event is sponsored by Kickstand, a Boise-based nonprofit that works to promote tech start-ups, and the BSU Center for Entrepreneurship.

The event will feature workshops led by founders of such companies as MetaGeek and Pro Moto Billet with themes: "The Business," "The Team" and "The Money."
