Boise firefighter injures knee fighting Thursday-morning fire

A Boise firefighter was taken to a local hospital for treatment after injuring his knee while working to extinguish a fire at Alsco, a commercial linen service at 2254 Braniff St., east of South Federal Way in Southeast Boise.

Fire crews responded to the fire at 2 a.m.

Battalion Chief John Peugh says the firefighter injured his knee while working in a loading dock area that was filled with smoke.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
