Kevin Murphy leads Idaho Stampede in come-from-behind victory

DES MOINES, Iowa — Kevin Murphy scored 18 of his 38 points in the third quarter to help Idaho defeat the Iowa Energy 119-110 on Wednesday night and end a five-game skid. The Energy led by as many as 12 in the second quarter before the Stampede (24-24) cut the deficit to one at the half, 63-62. Idaho outscored the Energy 32-16 in the quarter and never looked back. Murphy's outburst was his 12th game with 30 or more points. All five starters had double-doubles for Idaho - Derrick Caracter (20 points, 10 rebounds), Reggie Hearn (15 points, 12 rebounds), Scott Machado (13 points, 12 assists) and Dee Bost (14 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists). Murphy continues to lead the league in scoring with 25 ppg.
