Once again we are being treated to the spectacle of a special interest group ignoring the decision of the voters and calling for a new vote.
Some parents and supporters of additional taxation in Kuna do not accept the defeat of a measure to raise taxes for public education.
Instead of deciding that an election can be ignored because they don't like the outcome, the parties who want to raise taxes for the Kuna School District should solve the problem themselves. Find out who the supporters of the tax measure are and assess them all equal amounts of the total for them to pay. Problem solved.
Stop extorting money from people who are not accountable for the problem.
