Ada County Pet of the Week: Lilac the shorthair

April 1, 2014

Lilac, 5, is a spayed female, grey and cream, domestic shorthair cat. She is a mature cat with a laid-back personality.

Found as a stray in Boise, it is hard to believe someone didn't come looking for her. Lilac's coat is a smoky diluted tortoiseshell pattern. She keeps it clean. She is litter-box trained, affectionate and loves attention. She will hug her arms around your neck in a loving way when she is picked up. She is an an all-around nice cat.

Lilac can be found in cat cage 04 (#222266292) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
