A Boise man in his 30s reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle collided with a sport utility vehicle on West Overland Road just west of South Curtis shortly before noon Monday.

The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported to a local hospital. No condition or details of his injuries had been released Monday afternoon.

The motorcycle was traveling west on Overland about 11:50 a.m. when an eastbound SUV attempted a left turn onto Biggs and the vehicles collided in the intersection, police said. The SUV was driven by a Boise woman in her 30s.

Investigators are still trying to determine what factors contributed to the crash, police said. Traffic on Overland was restricted for several hours as officers reconstructed the crash scene.
