Steelheads sweep Stockton in three-game series

STOCKTON, Calif. - Four different Idaho players scored, and the Steelheads held off the Stockton Thunder for a 4-3 victory Sunday. Justin Mercier, Tommy Grant, Russ Sinkewich and Rob Linsmayer scored for Idaho (36-25-7), which holds a slim lead over Colorado for fourth place in the Western Conference - and home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Josh Robinson made 23 saves for the Steelheads, and Anthony Nigro had an assist in his first game since March 5 due to injury. Idaho hosts Colorado for two games this week
