Idaho Steelheads beat Stockton Thunder with big second period

STOCKTON, Calif. — Idaho scored three goals in the second period to beat Stockton 4-2 on Wednesday night. Tommy Grant, Luke Judson, Gaelan Patterson and Brett Robinson each scored a goal for the Steelheads.

• Kevin Kapalka started three of Idaho's past four games, after joining the team earlier this month. He had 74 saves, and was the sixth Steelhead to start at goalie this season. Josh Robinson and Pat Nagle are Idaho's remaining goaltenders.
