Body found in Boise parking lot Saturday night

Boise firefighters were spraying down a parking lot at the Westside Place Apartments, where a man was found dead Saturday night.


Police were called to apartments in West Boise at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday night for a report of a "suspicious incident," according to Ada County Dispatch.

Just before 11 p.m., a police department spokeswoman said the body of a man in his 50s was found in the parking lot of apartments in the 10000 block of West Halstead Lane, a neighborhood northwest of North Five Mile Road and West Fairview Avenue.

Firefighters were spraying down the parking lot of the Westside Place Apartments late Saturday.

The cause of the man's death is under investigation. No other information was immediately available.
