Job fairs for military personnel and veterans planned for six Idaho cities

"Hero 2 Hired" job fairs are set for six Idaho cities in April and May.

The job fairs are organized by the Idaho and U.S. Departments of Labor. They are an effort to help veterans, active duty military and National Guard and Reserve members, as well as military spouses.

The job fairs are scheduled for:

•Boise — April 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Riverside Hotel at 2900 Chinden Blvd.
•Post Falls — April 24 from noon to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Hall Post 142 at 1138 E. Poleline Ave.

•Fort Hall — April 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shoshone Bannock Hotel and Event Center at 7777 Bannock Trail

•Mountain Home — May 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Elds Lodge, BPOE 2276 at 325 S. 3rd West.

•Twin Falls — May 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Idaho Army National Guard Armory at 1069 Frontier Rd.

•Lewiston —May 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Idaho Army National Guard Armory at 2707 16th Ave.

Employers should come to the job fairs with specific job descriptions and resumes and should be prepared to accept resumes and conduct interviews.
