Boise Cascade CEO joins Idacorp board

Idacorp Inc. announced this week that Thomas Carlile has been appointed to the boards of directors of Idacorp and Idaho Power Co.

Carlile has been CEO of Boise Cascade Co. since February 2013. Before that, he was CEO of Boise Cascade LLC from August 2009 to February 2013, after serving more than a year as chief financial officer and executive vice president. He also has been a director of Forest Products Holdings LLC since 2009.

Idacorp, based in Boise, was formed in 1998 as a holding company. Its main subsidiary is Idaho Power, a regulated electric utility that employs more than 2,000 people and has more than 500,000 customers in a 24,000-square-mile area of southern Idaho and eastern Oregon.
