Former Boise State player Chris Carr retires from NFL

Defensive back Chris Carr spent nine seasons in the NFL with the Ravens, Raiders, Titans, Vikings, Chargers and Saints. He retires with 229 career tackles, seven interceptions, seven forced fumbles and 2.5 sacks. Carr made the announcement via Twitter, also saying he would attend law school in the fall. He later tweeted, "I want to thank Boise State, the best college program. My experience as a bronco was the impetus for my success in the NFL."
