I want to call your attention to three local writers whose columns we have launched since January:

- Mark Daly writes about investing. Daly is the managing director and investment officer at Boise's Rathbone Warwick & Daly investment-consulting firm. You'll find his debut column on page 44.

- Nancy Napier writes about creativity. Napier is executive director of Boise State University's Centre for Creativity and Innovation. When BI was published weekly, Napier was an occasional contributor to the Boise State on Business column. She began her own column when we went monthly in January. Her latest is on page 47.

- Susan Park writes about business law. Park is an assistant professor of business law in Boise State's College of Business and Economics. She, too, is an occasional former contributor to the BSU on Business column who committed to writing monthly beginning in February. Find her latest on page 12.

Local columns have been part of BI's regular menu since our first edition in January 2011. Each of our columnists brings expertise in a particular business-related subject. They're a smart bunch, they're all Treasure Valley dwellers and they're creating original work for each edition. Browse among them if you haven't already, and I think you'll find at least two or three you will enjoy following regularly.
