Boise bust yields nearly 15 pounds of pot, 7 grams of meth

Boise police responding to a reported battery at a home near Whitewater Park Boulevard and West Main Street Saturday detected a strong marijuana odor and ended up finding nearly 15 pounds of marijuana and 7 grams of methamphetamine.

Steven G. Kittelson, 53, of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail Sunday on felony charges of possessing meth and possessing marijuana with intent to deliver. Police said the investigation is continuing and more charges may be filed, police said.

After smelling the marijuana, officers obtained search warrants and found 14 pounds, 13 ounces of marijuana and 7 grams of meth.
