TIMBERLINE DISTANCE RUNNER CHOOSES BOISE STATE

Wolves senior Andrew Rafla signed with the Broncos on Friday and will compete in cross country and track and field. The reigning 5A individual state cross country champion also had offers from the University of Portland and San Jose State, he said. “The coaches at Boise State are great and have goals that are very similar to mine,” Rafla said. “The team atmosphere seemed like the best fit for me.”

SKYVIEW HIRES NEW GIRLS SOCCER COACH

Jason Obert will lead the program next season. Obert, a teacher at South Middle School in Nampa, has been an assistant coach with the program for six years.
