If you're like me, you see rain and immediately wonder "how much snow are ski areas getting?" Without further babbling, here's your answer, ranked in order of inches of snow at summits:

1. Lookout Pass: 136.

2. Lost Trail: 130.

3. Grand Targhee: 128.

4. Kelly Canyon: 110.

5. Schweitzer: 98.

6. Silver Mountain: 95.

7. Tamarack: 91.

8. Brundage: 81.

9. Pomerelle: 73.

10. Pebble Mountain: 56.

11. Sun Valley: 49.

12. Bogus Basin: 48 (base area).

13. Soldier Mountain: 43.
