BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Condors scored five times on seven shots in the first 10 minutes, 14 seconds of the game and cruised to a 7-1 victory over the Steelheads. Bakersfield first scored 1:16 into the game, then added goals at 2:35, 5:26 and 9:49 to chase Idaho goaltender Josh Robinson from the net. Pat Nagle came in and allowed a goal 25 seconds later on the first shot he saw. The Steelheads finally broke the shutout on a Luke Judson short-handed goal at 9:52 of the third period. Idaho mustered a season-low 17 shots.
Idaho played Sunday without suspended captain Patrick Cullity, who was disciplined for actions Saturday against Las Vegas. The Steelheads host the Wranglers on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at CenturyLink Arena.
