ECHL: Bakersfield blitzes Idaho with five early goals

— The Condors scored five times on seven shots in the first 10 minutes, 14 seconds of the game and cruised to a 7-1 victory over the Steelheads. Bakersfield first scored 1:16 into the game, then added goals at 2:35, 5:26 and 9:49 to chase Idaho goaltender Josh Robinson from the net. Pat Nagle came in and allowed a goal 25 seconds later on the first shot he saw. The Steelheads finally broke the shutout on a Luke Judson short-handed goal at 9:52 of the third period. Idaho mustered a season-low 17 shots.

• Idaho played Sunday without suspended captain Patrick Cullity, who was disciplined for actions Saturday against Las Vegas. The Steelheads host the Wranglers on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at CenturyLink Arena.
