Steelheads goalie returns; Las Vegas responds with victory

LAS VEGAS — Idaho goaltender Josh Robinson returned from Texas of the American Hockey League, and saved 34-of-36 shots in a 3-1 road loss to the Las Vegas Wranglers on Saturday night.

Tommy Grant scored Idaho’s only goal, in the third period. It was his team-leading 18th goal of the season.

The Steelheads play at Bakersfield on Sunday, and host Las Vegas on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at CenturyLink Arena. The Steelheads released goaltender Josh Watson to make room for Robinson.
