Idaho colleges roundup: College of Idaho men win in Cascade quarterfinals

CALDWELL — The third-ranked Coyotes went on a 21-3 run in the second half and beat Eastern Oregon 92-65 on Wednesday to break a nine-game postseason basketball losing streak. The C of I (26-5) hosts Oregon Tech in a Cascade Conference Tournament semifinal at 7 p.m. Saturday in Caldwell. Taylor Pruett scored 14 of his team-high 16 points in the opening half for the Coyotes, who also got 11 points each from Sydney Donaldson, Zach Peterson and Manny Morgan. Antonio Garrett added 12 rebounds.

BSU WRESTLING: The dual with Oregon State has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 8. The match will start at 6 p.m. in Taco Bell Arena. The dual was initially scheduled for Feb. 7, but was postponed due to travel restrictions for the Beavers caused by weather. The rescheduled match will take place in conjunction with the Boise State gymnastics team’s meet with Seattle Pacific.
