Letter: Animal abuse

February 27, 2014

This is about people who want to stop undercover video of dairy farms. If they can guarantee that abuse is not happening on dairy farms, there would not be a need. Unfortunately, abuse has been proved. Do they think their privacy is more important than making sure the animals are safe and well cared for? If they can guarantee that, they need to put their money where their mouth is and make sure that the abuse is not happening. Until then they shouldn’t get angry at the people that are videotaping. Be mad at the ones that are the cause of it. No one wants to invade their privacy, but I do not know why they can’t see that.

The ones videotaping do not want to see any animal being abused. I know there are people that do not agree, but frankly I do not know how anyone can be so heartless about animal safety. I wish all people could have the same mindset.
