Letter: Global warming

February 27, 2014

Mary Aspen (Feb. 8 letter) who wrote about the planet being destroyed by humans. Period.

She should open her eyes and her mind. Global research (www.globalresearch.ca) shows there has been no atmospheric warming since 1958. And despite spending more than $50 billion looking for it since 1990, “no unambiguous anthropogenic (human) signal has been identified in the global temperature pattern.”

So she can live in a cave if she wants, but don’t dare light a fire, or she will be contributing to the destruction of the planet. And if she uses a factory-made blanket to keep warm, double the shame. How does she sleep at night? Probably in a house warmed by planet-destroying gas or electricity.
