Two men steal drugs, cash from Boise pharmacy

Boise police are searching for the men who robbed a pharmacy on Federal Way on Monday night, and on Tuesday police released surveillance photos of one of the men.

Officers were called to the pharmacy on the 3300 block of Federal Way at 7:47 p.m. Monday. Witnesses said a man entered the store and gave an employee a handwritten, threatening note demanding specific prescription medications, including commonly abused pain killers. He took off with drugs and some cash in a blue shopping bag, leaving in a light blue small car driven by another man.

Both robbers are described as black men. The man who entered the store wore a striped shirt and a billed cap. The other man wore dark clothing and waited outside during the robbery, police said.

Their vehicle had stock spoke wheels and may have been a Mazda, police said.
