Boise - The Idaho StatesmanFebruary 25, 2014

International House of Pancake restaurants in Boise and across rest of the nation will serve up free pancakes on Tuesday, March 4 as part of a charity event to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Donations collected from Boise IHOPs located at 7959 W. Emerald St. and 3599 S Federal Way will benefit St. Luke's Children's Hospital.

Between 7 and 10 a.m., customers can receive a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. Customers are encouraged to make a donation to the charity. The event is in its ninth year, and IHOP hopes to raise $3 million.

The event falls each year on National Pancake Day. IHOP has served served more than 22 million pancakes and raised nearly $13 million for charities over the years.
