Ada County Pet of the Week: Brittany the border collie mix

February 25, 2014

Brittany, 5, is a spayed female, black, white and brown, border collie and German shepherd mix.

Brittany is a lively and fun gal. She is an intelligent dog who would excel at an obedience class. That would also help speed bonding. Brittany is house-trained. She is good with calmer, mature dogs, but prefers to be the dominant dog. If you have other dogs and are considering adopting Brittany, it’s recommended you bring them along for introductions.

Brittany is a huge fan of playing fetch, which will make getting her daily exercise a breeze.

Brittany can be found in kennel 404 (#19707109) at the Idaho Humane Society at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
