Woodland Empire Ale Craft grand opening: Noon to 11 p.m. Feb. 22, 1114 W. Front St., Boise. Free.

The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire? Douse it with beer! Despite a structure-damaging boiler fire exactly one month after Woodland Empire Ale Craft opened, the brewery stayed on track to celebrate its official grand opening Saturday, Feb. 22. Along with its regular array of beers, the tasting room will tap three special kegs of Cozy Up "big ol' milk stout" starting at noon - one enhanced by bourbon-soaked oak chips, another vanilla bean-infused, another sweetened with whole tart cherries. There will be a special keg of Ursula, too - a small-batch porter brewed by tasting-room staff. Pints of everything are $4 all day. The Pint Scoundrels will blast energetic Irish and English drinking songs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., DJ Winkle will spin from 8 to 10 p.m., and Archie's Place and Boise Fry Co. food trucks will sell grub from noon to 4 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m., respectively. Cheers!
