Canyon County Pet of the Week: Bryce the pit bull mix

February 18, 2014

Bryce, 1, is a beautiful, lean and handsome American pit bull terrier mix that is a soft fawn color, weighs 51 pounds and came in as a stray. He has great leash manners and has been good with other similar tempered dogs. Since he still has puppy ways about him, he has energy to burn, but he settles in quickly. If you really want to get his attention, just give him a treat. He should be a blast to train, and he loves people and loves to give kisses.

Bryce is in kennel number 10 at the Canyon County Animal Shelter at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and closed on Sundays. For more information on other adoptable pets, log on at
