Get outside on Presidents Day, Boise — another cold front is on the way

newsroom@idahostatesman.comFebruary 16, 2014

The high in Boise on Sunday was 47 degrees, but wind gusts of up to 39 mph made it feel cooler. The forecast shows it will be even warmer Monday.

Temperatures will rise into the low 50s Monday and Tuesday, but a cold front from the northwest Tuesday night will cool things off, according to the National Weather Service.

"We'll be back into the lower 40s, with a chance of (rain) showers or snow showers," a meteorologist said.

The precipitation that we get this week won't be as robust as what we saw last week. It will be breezy as these small systems move through the region.
