Idaho colleges roundup: Idaho women drop first WAC game

MOSCOW — Cal State Bakersfield topped Idaho 79-60, snapping the Vandals’ 10-game winning streak and giving them their second home loss of the season. Idaho (17-8, 10-1 WAC) defeated Bakersfield 96-69 in January, but the Roadrunners (14-8, 8-2) led the entire game in the rematch. Stacey Barr had a game-high 24 points and 12 rebounds for Idaho, her 11th double-double of the season. Idaho shot 26.3 percent from the floor, its worst shooting percentage this season.

NORTHWEST NAZARENE MEN’S BASKETBALL: The Crusaders fell to Alaska Fairbanks 108-104 in triple OT in Nampa. Mario Donaldson scored a career-high 24 points for NNU (5-16, 3-10 GNAC).

NNU WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Crusaders lost at Montana State Billings 90-72. Chelsie Luke recorded 16 points, while Megan Hingston added 14 points and seven boards for NNU (12-10, 5-9 GNAC).

NNU BASEBALL: Cal State Dominguez Hills beat the Crusaders 2-1 in Carson, Calif. The loss was the fourth one-run setback for NNU (0-6).
